École La Grande-Ourse

École La Grande-Ourse is a primary school based in Smithers B.C. Canada and encourages the practice of the French language by offering a complete school programme and various educational activities. La Grande-Ourse is a reference to the Big Dipper constellation which to the indigenous peoples of North America represents a mother bear and serves as the inspiration for the school’s name and logo.
